Being an Auctioneer involves hard work and countless hours of practice and training. Before becoming an Auctioneer, you should consider attending auction school. There are auction schools and programs throughout the U.S. and abroad that provide aspiring Auctioneers with the training and education needed to start their careers. In addition to learning the art of bid calling, auction schools provide students with training on marketing their services and sales, as well as provide students with training on starting and operating an auction business.
