2008- 2009 Speaker Bureau Program
for
State Auctioneer Association Conventions
The 2008-2009 Speaker Bureau roster, seminar topics amd photos are currently being compiled and will be posted by the end of September 2008. If you have an immediate need for a speaker, bio and/or photo, please contact Heather Rempe at 913-541-8084 ext. 15 or hrempe@auctioneers.org.
All of the information below is tentative and subject to change.
NAA will send one complimentary representative per year (Aug. - July), per state association to speak at state conventions. Please follow the steps below to request a speaker for your state convention.

Review the speaker roster and/or seminar topics to determine your preferred speaker. Speaker Roster and Seminar Topics Are Under Construction
- Complete the speaker agreement form in its entirety and return to

Speaker Bio and Photos, for 2008-09 are now being compiled and are incomplete at this time but should be ready by the end of September. In the interim, please contact Heather Rempe at hrempe@auctioneers.org or by phone at 913-541-8084, ext. 15.
State Responsibilities

Arrange speaker's lodging and ground transportation and confirm with the speaker these arrangements 60 days in advance of the event so that the speaker can make airline reservations.

Provide meals, audio/visual equipment, copies of speaker's seminar outlines and handouts (obtain outline and handouts directly from speaker).

The NAA has the right to request the state association to share the expense of the speaker's airfare. If the speaker's airfare is higher than reasonable due to location of the event, arrival or departure dates, or any other unforeseen reasons.
After your convention, submit to NAA the newly elected officers, if applicable, as well as information about the event for publication in the Auctioneer magazine.
NAA Responsibilities:

- Pay for speaker's airfare
