A new section called "Auction Career Opportunities" will debut in the April issue of Auctioneer magazine and on the NAA website. The section will feature small advertisements by auction companies seeking employees, and advertisements from individuals seeking work in the auction industry. NAA believes this new addition will become a premier site for individuals to connect for auction employment opportunities.
The deadline for the NAA to receive advertisements for the April edition is 5:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Advertising deadlines for this section will be the 5th day of each month for advertisements to appear in the coming month's edition of the Auctioneer.
The new Auction Career Opportunities page will be seperated into specific categories: Auctioneers, Clerks/Cashiers, Ringmen, Other, Available for Hire, and Auction Schools.
Additional Information on submitting advertisements:
- Send the NAA the exact wording you desire in your advertisement. Advertisements are limited to 300 characters (a character is a letter or word and does not include spacing). Generally this is approximately 50 words.
- The price is $150 for a 1/16 page advertisement (only size available). Your purchase of the magazine advertisement space includes a free listing on NAA's Career website section for 30 days.
- NAA does not offer website only career advertisements.
- NAA's designers will create your advertisement. Ads will be text format only. No graphics, company logos, or ready-made advertisements will be accepted for this new section. The advertisements will be simple, uniform text advertisements.
- Auction schools that are currently running display ads in the magazine will get a free listing under the Auction Schools section on the Auction Career Opportunities page in the months they run their display advertisements.
- Career advertisements will not be recognizedin the advertiser index, near the back of the magazine.
Advertisements can be submitted by e-mail, fax, or U.S. Mail. Text can be mailed to Wendy's attention at 8880 Ballentine, Overland Park, KS 66214. Please include specific instructions including the months which you wish to place your advertisement.
