International Auctioneers Championship

As the week winds down, the action heats up during the highly anticipated NAA International Auctioneer Championship. Auction professionals from around the world will showcase their bid-calling and interview skills in this day-long competition. Being crowned International Auctioneer Champion can be a life-changing experience and may lead to advanced career opportunities for contestants.

To compete, contestants are required to:
  • Be 18 years or older and a current NAA member on or before July 12
  • Register for the conference or register as a paid exhibitor on or before the May 15 deadline. One-day conference passes do not qualify
  • Complete the contestant entry form and pay a $400 entry fee on or before the May 15 deadline
  • Attend the mandatory IAC Roll Call and Orientation meeting held at 7 a.m. on the day of the contest. Failure to be present at roll call will result in disqualification without refund of conference or contest fees.
Each contestant will sell two items consecutively in both the preliminary and final rounds. The items are supplied by the NAA. Only finalists will participate in the interview portion of the final round. Please read the entire set of rules and requirements before registering to compete.

IAC Live! Broadcast
Friday, July 12 | 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
On Friday, do you struggle to choose whether to watch the IAC competition in the ballroom or attend an education session? You can do both at the same time! Access the NAA’s IAC Live! broadcast throughout the day via livestreaming service.

International Junior Auctioneer Championship
Preliminary round: Wednesday, July 10 | 2 – 3:30 p.m.
Final round: Friday, July 12 | 8 a.m.


What an amazing experience for youths ages 12 – 18 to be able to take the stage and compete for the title of International Junior Auctioneer Champion. There’s no better opportunity to forge relationships and friends with peers throughout the U.S. To compete, contestants are required to register for the conference (one-day passes do not qualify); submit the Contestant Information Form; and pay a $50 entry fee. Each contestant will sell two items in the preliminary round. The top three contestants from the preliminary round will compete in the final round at 8 a.m. on Friday, prior to the start of the IAC competition. Finalists will sell two items and will be asked one pre-published interview question. The winner of the International Junior Auctioneer Championship will be announced at the conclusion of the IAC Finals Friday evening.
