VIRTUAL Conference & Show 2020 Speakers!
Thank you for being a part of this year’s first-ever VIRTUAL C&S and helping to bring great professional and business content to the auction community during this unprecedented global pandemic! Your assigned Conference & Show Education Committee (CSEC) member or NAA staff will work with you to ensure deliverables are completed and submitted for your virtual session.

Volunteer Virtual Speaker Agreement

Please complete, date, sign, and submit the NEW C&S 2020 Volunteer VIRTUAL Speaker Agreement to be eligible for virtual speaker benefits. Please email education@auctioneers.org with any questions.

Virtual Session Formats and Templates

Our Virtual Conference Education Program will consist of mostly 30-minute sessions with a few 45-minute and 60-minute sessions as the session content requires.

Most, if not all, of the virtual sessions will be “mock live” sessions, where the session is pre-recorded and the session recording is played during a scheduled day and time. As the virtual speaker of a “mock live” session, you will participate in live chat with the virtual attendees while your pre-recorded session plays. This provides real-time virtual engagement between the speaker and the audience giving the feel that the session is happening live. This will also allow us to provide on-demand access to the session almost immediately after the “mock live” session ends.

Register for Virtual Conference & Show

If you have registered for Conference and Show in San Diego, your registration will transfer to the virtual conference. Since virtual registration fees are lower than in-person (only in 2020 due to COVID-19), the difference in registration fees will be held and applied to a future NAA event of your choice. If you have not registered for the Conference and Show yet, please register for the virtual conference before June 30, 2020.  If you have any questions about registration or transferring your in-person registration to the virtual conference, please email registrations@auctioneers.org.

Submit Your Virtual Session Forms and Materials

BY MAY 25: Add or update your Photo & Bio in your NAA Profile. We will use the photo and bio from your profile for the virtual C&S event and other session promotion, so be sure they are up to date. 

BY JUNE 1: Complete your Virtual Session Worksheet to aid staff in finalizing your session description and learning objectives to promote your session and the event. 

BY JUNE 15: Submit your final session materials to NAA:  https://www.dropbox.com/request/Qs9D4OkowwMkuy4nu2qC  

NOTE: once these files are submitted, no changes will be allowed after June 30, 2020.
