Terri Walker named 72nd National Auctioneers Association President
Walker, CAI, BAS, CES, Walker Auctions of Memphis, Tennessee, will serve as the NAA President for 2020-2021
Overland Park, Kan. (July 2020) – After one year as National Auctioneers Association Vice President, Terri Walker, of Memphis, Tennessee, took office as NAA President. Walker was elected by members at the 2020 Annual Business Meeting of the National Auctioneers Association after serving three years as a member of the NAA Board of Directors. She is the second female NAA President in the association’s 71-year history.
As a member of the NAA for 30 years, Walker spent six years as a CAI Advisor and three years as an NAA Board member. Walker is a second-generation auctioneer and learned the auction business working with her father, Bob Turnage, in Hayti, Missouri. She now works with her husband, Lance Walker, CAI, BAS, CES, and son, Eric Walker, at Walker Auctions in Memphis, Tennessee.
Walker will serve as president until July 2021, when the next president will take office at the International Auctioneers Conference & Show in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
