What is an Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate (AARE)?

When selling property, you want assurance that you will get the best buyer and price available. AARE auctioneers give you that peace of mind.
If you've ever seen the letters AARE behind an auctioneer's name, you might have wondered about their significance. The Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate designation sets apart auctioneers committed to continuing their education in the ever-changing real estate market.
The National Auctioneers Association (NAA) created the 3-day, 24-hour AARE designation course to educate auction professionals in marketing real estate to its highest potential. Only 103 auctioneers hold this designation as of October 2022, making them a unique market asset.
The NAA requires AARE designation holders to have real estate license(s) and have a proven track record of successful auctions. In addition, these professionals have:
* A fast-selling service to keep your holding- and real estate-related costs down
* Completed at least 10 auctions or a combined total of $3 million in real estate auction sales
* Trends, tools, and tactics to meet your strategic goals and incorporate the latest technologies
* Real estate marketing expertise
If you're looking for a fast and transparent way to sell or buy property, look for an auctioneer with an AARE designation.
