As I reflect on my first 90 days leading the National Auction Association, one thing is clear, this organization has a spirit unlike any other. Our strength comes from the enthusiasm of our board of directors, the professionalism of our staff, and most importantly, the commitment of our members. Having worked with member organizations for many years, I can confidently say our membership is truly exceptional. The NAA community feels like family—welcoming, loyal, and deeply invested in the success of one another and the industry we represent.
One of the great joys of these early months has been meeting so many of you: at NAA summits and in your own communities. I’ve appreciated every conversation and the warm invitations to attend your auctions, events and conferences. Seeing your work in action has been inspiring, and I look forward to connecting with even more members in the months ahead. Please know that my door is always open.
With the sale of our building and some reorganization at headquarters, NAA is evolving. Change brings new opportunities, and we’re already seeing the benefits—improved cash flow, stronger alignment, and a renewed focus on our mission.
My goal is to make the NAA a professional home for every auctioneer. A place where members find value, opportunity, and connection. The foundation we share is strong, and the momentum we’re building together is powerful. I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful to be part of this incredible community.
