National Auction Association Logo Usage Guidelines
The National Auction Association (NAA) name, logo, and related marks are valuable assets of the Association and may be used only in accordance with these guidelines.
Permitted Use by Members
Current NAA members in good standing may use the NAA logo solely to identify their membership in the Association.
Examples of permitted use include:
- Company websites
- Marketing materials
- Email signatures
- Business cards
- Social media profiles
Prohibited Uses
The NAA logo may not be used in any manner that:
- Suggests NAA endorsement, approval, sponsorship, certification, or accreditation of a company, product, service, auction, event, or individual.
- Implies an official relationship with NAA beyond membership.
- Is false, misleading, or deceptive.
- Is used in connection with unlawful, unethical, or unprofessional conduct.
- Damages or could reasonably harm the reputation of NAA.
Logo Integrity
The NAA logo must be reproduced as provided by NAA and may not be:
- Altered, distorted, stretched, cropped, or modified.
- Combined with other logos or graphic elements.
- Recolored except as permitted in approved logo files.
- Used with outdated or unofficial versions.
Ownership
The NAA name, logo, and all related trademarks remain the exclusive property of the National Auction Association. Use of the logo does not grant ownership rights or any license beyond the limited permission described in these guidelines.
Revocation of Permission
NAA reserves the right to require modification or discontinuation of any logo use that does not comply with these guidelines. Permission to use the logo automatically terminates upon expiration or termination of membership.
Reporting Suspected Misuse
NAA members play an important role in helping protect the integrity and reputation of the Association’s trademarks. If you become aware of any unauthorized, misleading, or improper use of the NAA name, logo, or other trademarks, please notify NAA so the matter can be reviewed.
Reports of suspected trademark misuse should be sent to NAA Member Services at [email protected] and should include, when possible, a description of the issue, the name of the individual or organization involved, and any supporting documentation or screenshots.
NAA will review all reports and take appropriate action as necessary to protect its intellectual property rights and the integrity of the Association’s brand.
Use of the NAA logo signifies membership in the Association only and does not constitute endorsement, certification, accreditation, approval, or recommendation by NAA.
