Chelsea Pointer

Programs Manager

Drawing on over 15 years of dedicated experience in the nonprofit sector, Chelsea Pointer has built a career rooted in a passion for community service and social impact. Her professional journey began as a three-term AmeriCorps member, where she developed a strong foundation in grassroots initiatives, volunteer engagement, and community-driven change.

Having lived across various regions of the United States, Chelsea brings a broad and adaptable perspective to her work. Throughout her career, she has served as Director of Youth Volunteer Corps of Greater Kansas City, Program Coordinator for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Southwestern North Dakota, and Administrative Coordinator with the ALS Association of Southwestern Missouri. Most recently, she spent seven years focused on voter impact, civic engagement, and elections as the Voter Registration Coordinator for Greene County.

Outside of her professional life, Chelsea is the proud mother of a three-year-old son, Ollie, who keeps her inspired and energized. When she’s not working to make a difference, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, hunting for treasures at antique shops, cheering on the Chiefs, and soaking in the atmosphere at community festivals. To recharge, she loves traveling or simply unwinding with her favorite reality TV shows.

Chelsea is grateful for the opportunity to apply her experience and commitment to service in her work with the NAA, advancing a meaningful and lasting impact.
