Dan Newman is a professionally certified auctioneer, CEO, and founder of Alaska Premier Auctions and Appraisals LLC, having graduated from the Missouri Auction School, the “Harvard” of auction schools.

As the ambassador for the State of Alaska for the National Auctioneers Association, he has gone above and beyond in his professional training and continuing education in the auction industry to earn his Auction Marketing Management, Benefit Auctioneer Specialist, Certified Estate Specialist, and Certified Auctioneers Institute designations. He is one of only less than 1% of minority Auctioneers in the world who are Benefit Auctioneer Specialists.

Fundraising is his passion as he’s helped the nonprofits he has worked with raise tens of millions of dollars through his emceeing, fundraising consultation services, and auctioneering for their yearly benefit charity auction events over the better part of the last decade. For his for-profit/consumer clients, through the various estate sales, business liquidations, and consignment auctions they host,

Entrepreneurship fuels his purpose in becoming a well-connected, successful sales professional, networker, and consummate community volunteer. He has received an Anchorage Chamber of Commerce Gold Pan Award for his volunteer work and was recognized as an Alaskan “Top 40 Under 40” honoree by the Alaska Journal of Commerce. He is the past board chair of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, sits on the board of the Better Business Bureau Great West & Pacific, and is the past president of the Anchorage South Rotary Club.

Most importantly to him, and the source of his drive to succeed in life, is being a very proud father of two amazing sons, an incredible daughter, and a fortunate husband to his fantastic wife.
