DAVID G. HELMER- CAI

Mr. Helmer is well-known and honored throughout the state of Michigan and on the national level as a
professional auctioneer. He is the President of Braun & Helmer Auction Service, the founder of The
Super Auction and co-founder of GoToAuction.com. He has worked well over 3,000 auctions in his
career.

A vocal leader in higher education, Mr. Helmer is a graduate of numerous auction industry designations
including, the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) which is the highest designation available in the
auction industry. Mr. Helmer has been a guest lecturer at prominent auction schools a conferences
around the United States.

He was elected as President of the Michigan Auctioneers Association in 2006. That same year, he was
crowned the champion in the Michigan Auctioneer Championship. In 2008, he was the winner of the
Michigan Ringman Championship.

In 2014, he received his industry’s highest honor being elected into the Michigan Auctioneers
Association Hall of Fame. In 2017, he received the distinct honor of being awarded the President’s
Award of Distinction. Notably, Mr. Helmer holds the rare feat of being a ‘Triple Crown Winner’ by
winning the Michigan Auctioneer Championship, Michigan Ringman Championship and induction into
the Hall of Fame.

David Helmer and his wife Jennifer have three children, daughter, Olivia and twin boys, Luke and Caleb.
