James Supp, GPPA, is a personal property appraiser, auctioneer, and historical consultant with over 20 years of experience specializing in pop culture memorabilia, militaria, rare collectibles, and entertainment ephemera. Widely recognized as a featured appraiser on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow since 2009, he provides USPAP-compliant valuations, forensic appraisal reviews, casualty loss rebuttals, and expert witness testimony.

Core Leadership & Roles
• Coronado Trading Company (Founder & Principal Appraiser, 2005–Present): Directs USPAP-compliant appraisals and high-stakes artifact authentication for private, estate, and institutional collections. Projects include archival analysis on landmark items such as Gandhi’s spinning wheel, Hindenburg wreckage, and space-flown equipment.

• Bannerman Auctions LLC (Managing Partner & Principal Auctioneer, 2024–Present): Oversees auction operations, consignment acquisition, digital platform cataloging, and provenance verification for military history collections, rare documents, and vintage computing archives.

• PBS Antiques Roadshow (Appraiser & On-Air Expert, 2009–Present): Appraises thousands of public submissions nationwide.

• Institutional & Auction Consultant (2012–Present): Delivers third-party authentication and market valuations for premier auction houses (Christie’s, Sotheby’s, Heritage, Julien’s, Goldin, RR Auction) and museums, including The Strong National Museum of Play and Pima Air & Space Museum.
