SAE Guides

FFA’s Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program involves practical agricultural activities performed by students outside of scheduled classroom and laboratory time. SAEs provide a method in agricultural education for students to receive real-world career experiences in an area of agriculture that they are most interested in.

An auctioneering SAE gives students the opportunity to explore what a career in the auction industry could look like. This guide will help guide students to the creation of an auction industry SAE. They can experience what it takes to be an auctioneer and learn from those already working in the field. They can gain skills that will prepare you for a career in the industry.
