A Message from the CEO - December 2025

As we enter the holiday season, I’m reminded that the strength of our association has never come from a building, a program, or even a single initiative. It comes from our members. You are the reason NAA exists. You are the “why” behind every decision we make and every direction we pursue.

This year has brought meaningful transition for NAA, including preparing to leave a headquarters that has been part of our story for decades. While change can feel significant, it also creates space for renewed purpose. And for us, that purpose begins and ends with serving our membership. The location of our office may evolve, and some of the tools we use may improve, but our commitment to the people who give this association life remains constant.

As we look to 2026, we are intentionally stepping into a new era, one centered on strengthening the membership experience. Our focus will be on delivering deeper value to those who are with us today, reconnecting with members who have stepped away, and welcoming new professionals who want to be part of this community. Membership is not a transaction; it is a relationship built on trust, relevance, and shared belief in the future of the auction profession.

You are the heart of NAA, and everything we do is designed with your needs, challenges, and opportunities in mind. The changes ahead — some visible, some behind the scenes — are all rooted in our commitment to serve you better and to ensure this association is positioned for the future.
