We Need Your Data
To help shift public perception and showcase the impact of the auction industry, we need your help. As part of the campaign, we’ll be collecting data directly from NAA members to build a clearer picture of who we are, what we do, and the economic value we bring to communities across the country.
We’ll be asking members to share key information such as:
- Annual sales volume through auction
- Types of assets sold (real estate, personal property, equipment, vehicles, collectibles, charity auctions, etc.)
- Markets served (local, national, international)
- Company structure and size (solo operator, small team, large firm)
- Staff breakdown (e.g., number of full-time and part-time employees, roles such as auctioneers, ringmen, marketing staff, logistics, admin, client service)
- Online vs. in-person auction activity
- Recent trends in your business (growth areas, innovations, challenges)
When we can quantify our collective impact, we can make a stronger case to the public, the media, and potential clients about the value of working with auction professionals and using the auction method.
