T. Kyle Swicegood, CAI, AARE, GPPA, BAS, is a respected leader in the real estate and auction industry and serves as Founder and CEO of The Swicegood Group, Inc. He has built a reputation for client dedication, strategic insight, and deep market expertise.
Swicegood’s commercial real estate expertise is supported by postgraduate studies at the Commercial Real Estate Institute, where he earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in June 2000. He also holds the Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate (AARE) designation. He is currently serving his second term as a Governor-appointed Commissioner on the North Carolina Auctioneer Licensing Board, where he serves as Co-Chair.
In 2013, he earned the Certified Auctioneer Institute (CAI) designation from Indiana University and holds the Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA) designation from the National Auctioneers Association.
With experience in commercial, residential, and land brokerage, Mr. Swicegood has represented clients with diverse assets, including office properties, coastal real estate, and farmland. In 2022, he was elected to a three-year term with the National Auctioneers Association.
His expertise has earned international recognition, including speaking to the South African Institute of Auctioneers in Johannesburg in May 2023.
Swicegood has been married to his wife, Elizabeth, since 1989. They have two children, Ashton and Lewis, and are proud grandparents to Braxton & Blaire Burton, and Riland Swicegood. Notably, he, his wife, and both children are members of the National Auctioneers Association and graduates of the Certified Auctioneer Institute (CAI).**
