Becky Tarlton

Becky Tarlton is a trailblazer in the field of auctioneering. Born and raised in Rowan County, North Carolina, Becky has been a full-time auctioneer since 1987. She is licensed in NC, SC, and Virginia, She is a 2003 state auctioneer champion. Starting her career in livestock, dealer auto auctions she is now dedicated to personal property especially vehicles, farm equipment, firearms and senior transitions with The Swicegood Group.
Becky followed in her father's footsteps and has since broken barriers in the auction field, making history as the first female auto auctioneer in North Carolina. Her bid chant is powerful, but she brings more than just her vocal skills to the table. Becky possesses a vast amount of experience and knowledge, which she uses to provide excellent organizational skills to the personal property auctions she oversees. She creates detailed catalogs and pays attention to the best practices in the auction industry, ensuring the highest and best values for the assets she is selling, regardless of the category.
Becky is a respected and sought-after instructor at the Carolina Auction Academy. Her proficiency in the latest technology ensures that she can achieve the best results for her clients and customers, regardless of the category of asset being sold. Over the years, Becky has sold just about everything, and her expertise has made her a force to be reckoned with in the auction industry.
Outside of work, she is an avid horse and mini Aussie breeder. She has a warm and friendly personality, and her clients and customers often become her friends. Becky's exceptional work ethic and dedication to a job well done are a testament to her success in the field of auctioneering.
In recognition of her outstanding contribution to the field of auctioneering, Becky was inducted into the Auctioneers Association of North Carolina Hall of Fame in June 2021.
