Professional Bio
Betsy Maples was born and raised in Murfreesboro and in real estate. Her father, Clark Maples, founded Maples Realty & Auction Co. in 1967, and she has been working in the family business since 1986.
After receiving her Business Administration and Accounting degrees from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), Betsy continued working at her father’s company, first as an affiliate broker and bookkeeper and later obtaining her Broker and Auctioneer licenses. She has been the owner and managing broker since her father’s death in 2009.
Like her father, Betsy loves to serve her community! She is currently the treasurer of Mt. Tabor Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and she has served on MTSU Jones College of Business's Advisory Council, Discovery Center Advisory Board, and was Advisory Board Chair for The Salvation Army. She has three daughters (one also works at Maples Realty!) and six grandchildren.
Betsy enjoys being in the office to better serve every Maples Realty & Auction Co. client.
