Christopher Rasmus, CAI, AMM

1983 Graduate of Virginia Tech with a BS in Marketing, 1997 Virginia Auctioneers Association president, CAI Board of Governors, VAA Hall of Fame inductee, presidential appointment to the NAA Board. In 1998 Chris pioneered online auctions. Today Rasmus conducts 1300 auctions per year throughout North America, Hawaii and Canada with offices in VA, WV, PA, KY, OH, CA, HI & WA Chris’ passion is auction innovation, efficiencies and developing new auction models. Chris is the advanced auction concepts instructor for the Certified Auctioneers Institute at Indiana University & works with auctioneers throughout North America transition to online auctions. Chris is a frequent speaker at state, national and international liquidation conferences on matters of sale and valuation. Chris has 44 years related experience with the emphasis on the sale and valuation of commercial and industrial, and personal property and is CEO of Rasmus Auctions, iAuctio, Bidcloud and Acuity Appraisers.
