Scott Kolb, CAI , CES is the Founder and Managing Director of Scott Kolb and Associates, LLC (SKA). SKA provides strategic advisory services to the competitive bidding, benefit event, and non-profit industries. The firm focuses on helping nonprofit organizations accelerate growth, improve quality, generate revenue, and provide service for life.
Mr. Kolb has been a student of the competitive bidding, benefit auction, and non-profit landscape for over 30 years. He has been instrumental in the establishment, leadership, and growth of many industry giants... serving organizations like Ronald McDonald House Charities, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and Catholic Charities.... along with many churches, schools, and other health care organizations.
Mr. Kolb is a certified, licensed, and bonded professional auctioneer and holds the highest designation in the auction industry; the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI). He also holds the Certified Estate Specialist (CES), and Certified Professional Consultant (CPC) designations. His professional benefit practice has raised tens of millions of dollars supporting noble causes across the United States and Canada.
He is a lifetime member of the National Auctioneers Association, a longtime member of the National Auto Auction Association, and a founding and board member of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance, as chair of the Education Committee. He is a nationally recognized speaker, author, industry trainer, and advisor to the competitive bidding industry and is widely recognized as one of the most trusted professional auctioneers in the industry today.
He still plays and coaches competitive lacrosse and soccer, and enjoys reading and spending time with his faith, family, and friends. He resides at the Crossroads of America and the Racing Capital of the World in Indianapolis, IN and near Center Hill Lake in Smithville, TN.
