Images of interest—Auctioneer:

Auctioneers are the MC's of the auction and sometimes they have just as much fun as the crowd! Auctions may be held to sell items, but they are also held to raise funds for charities. Adding in a theme, such as the holiday decorations and attire allows everyone to get into the celebration.

Online auctions or often conducted with the auctioneer sitting in front of a green screen allowing for digital images to play behind them. These images may relate to the items being auctioned, or could be a simple rotation of images related to the auction company running the auction. These images might be their logo, pictures of their building or staff, or other images of the local area.

Images of interest—Clerk:

Being a clerk at an auction is a busy job that requires the ability to listen to the auctioneer, keep records in the chosen auction database and sales software, and interacting with the lucky buyers ready to pay for and gain access to their purchase.

Images of interest—Ring Person

As the auctioneer tells the crowd about a given item and tries to motivate the crowd to out bid each other, there is always someone in the crowd relaying to the auctioneer that they have someone who just indicated they would up the bid. Sometimes is a yelp, sometimes, is a hoot, maybe even a hollar, but it's going to be the loudest voice in the audience! The auctioneer is going to have his or her ear trained on the ring person's particular call and then move their chant forward.
