There are so many ways to sell things. Deciding which method is the best for you will depend on several things, but first and foremost—what do you want to sell? Choices include, large and small/local online marketplaces, all sorts of apps, garage sales, consignment, and of course auctions!

• Do some online research to discover which sale option would work best for you and the items you want to sell.
• Research online to learn more about:
  • Understanding the item you're selling (age, value, clear ownership)
  • Identify the type of buyer that would want to by the item (demographics)
  • Understanding why the buyer would they the item
  • Deciding how to reach the buyer to let them know you have something they might want (marketing)
  • Building trust with the buyer so they will buy from you, the seller
