About the Instructors

Christie King has been involved in the auction industry since 1987, when she joined her family's auction business. In 2007, Ms. King received the Benefit Auctioneer Specialists designation from the National Auctioneers Association. She then established C King Benefit Auctions and began fully dedicating her efforts to helping nonprofit organizations, focusing on helping women, children, animals, and various medical foundations. Christie has assisted numerous organizations in generating tens of millions of dollars in revenue for their causes. She was the president of the National Auctioneers Association in 2012 and is currently the president of the National Auctioneers Foundation, the first female to be elected to both positions. Christie was inducted into the National Auctioneers Association's Hall of Fame in 2019.

Troy D. Lippard, CAI, President of Lippard Auctioneers, Inc. Is a graduate of Missouri Auction School 1988, and a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana acquiring a CAI designation (Certified Auctioneers Institute) in real estate. He is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, Oklahoma State Auctioneers Association. He is a graduate of Lincoln Appraisal school holding a Master Farm & Land Appraisers designation and also a graduate of the Thompson Advertising school in Kansas City, Kansas in 1992. Troy has held positions on several boards including: NAA fund raising board, board of director, President, Chairman of the board for the Oklahoma State Auctioneers Association, board of director for the American Businessman Club, Enid, Oklahoma. He is the 1999 Oklahoma State Champion Auctioneer, a 5- time finalist in the International Auctioneers Championship Contest and a 3- time finalist in the All World Auctioneers Championship Contest held in Canada.
