2026 Candidates for the NAA Board
The NAA Candidate Review Committee has announced the 2026 candidates for the National Auction Association Board of Directors, representing members who are ready to step forward and help guide the future of the NAA and the auction profession.

Candidate for Vice President
T. Kyle Swicegood, CAI, AARE, GPPA

T. Kyle Swicegood, CAI, AARE, GPPA, BAS, is currently serving his third year as a Director on the Board of the National Auctioneers Association. He has previously served on the Certified Auctioneer Institute (CAI) Committee, where he held the position of Chair, as well as on the Education Institute Trustees, also serving as Chair. In addition, he has contributed as an adjunct Class Advisor for CAI Year Three. T. Kyle has been an active member of the NAA since 2009.
Candidates for Director
Naomi Lewis, CAI, AARE, BAS

Naomi Lewis, CAI, AARE, BAS, has been an active member of the National Auction Association for 10 years. Naomi currently serves as Chair of the Community Cornerstone Committee and Community Chair on the NAA Board of Directors. She has served on the New and Emerging Markets Task Force, Women's Forum Task Force, Boy Scouts of America Merit Badge Task Force, Member Task Force, and Speakers Bureau Task Force.
Braden McCurdy, CAI, AARE, AMM

Braden McCurdy, CAI, AARE, AMM, has been an active member of the National Auction Association for two decades and currently serves as Promotions Chair on the NAA Board of Directors and as Chair of the Promotions Cornerstone Committee. He holds CAI, AARE & AMM and has serves as faculty for AARE and CAI, in addition to speaking regularly on marketing, tech and real estate auctions all in efforts to advance the auction industry.
JT Rowell, CAI, AARE, ATS, GPPA

JT Rowell, CAI, AARE, ATS, GPPA, has been an active member of the National Auction Association for over 16 years. JT has served on the Website Design and Development Committee and Real Estate Summit Committee. JT is also heavily involved in the Georgia Auctioneers Association, having served 17 years. He holds the CAI, AARE, ATS, and GPPA designations.

NAA Board Election voting begins July 15 at 10 a.m. CT. Digital ballots will be emailed to current NAA members. The deadline to submit a ballot is July 16 at 9 a.m. CT. You cannot change your vote once it is cast. Be sure to check out the Candidate Q&As published in the May/June edition of The Auctioneer magazine. Members will elect one Vice President and two Directors. |
